CAPFITOGEN tools were presented during PGR training workshop in Bolivia

Juan Fajardo, our colleague from the Spanish Plant Genetic Resources Centre (CRF-INIA) introduced our CAPFITOGEN programme during the training workshop “Plant Genetic Resources Conservation and Utilization” carried out in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia (December 8-12, 2014). This succesful workshop was attended by eighteen technical representatives from thirteen Latin American countries.

With this type of dissemination activities can arise new opportunities to apply CAPFITOGEN tools. Congratulations for attendees, speakers and organizers of this workshop and institutions that funded this activity. We continue working to build capacity in people and institutions responsible for the preservation of agricultural biodiversity in Latin America and elsewhere.
