Hi everyone im new here, here is my story, i will keep it short. I have light skin, freckle easy, had very bad blistering sunburns all through my childhood, and my mom had melanoma ( she didnt get it taken care of right away and it spread) she passed away at the age of 56 ( 3 yrs ago). I am a 27 yr old female. Like i had said b4 i freckle very easily but never had any moles of any sort, tons of freckles but no moles, well up until 2 yrs ago i noticed a strange looking mole on my back, oddly shaped, different shades of color but it was flat. I showed my family doctor at the time and he did a shave biopsy, the results came back fine, nothing wrong with it. Well a year later i noticed directly underneath the biopsy scar i was developing another weird mole. Started out like a spec, then gradually got bigger, yet again it was oddly shaped, multicolored and was starting to raise in some places. I finally went to a dermatologist on Monday and showed this to him, he didnt seem concerned at all about it, he said since i had the shave biopsy b4, it might just have grown back. And i told him, well wouldnt it have grown back in the same place and not underneath it?? He could tell i was concerned and did a biopsy on it, he cut the whole thing out, and said he will send it in to be checked but he knows its not cancer. Maybe im just freaking out here but how does a strange looking mole, that is irregular in shape, multicolored and starting to raise not be of any concern?? I told him my family history and he still kind of blew me off. I have checked all the abc's of skin cancer and this mole fits all of them, i just dont understand why he wasnt concerned? So now i am awaiting the results from the biopsy and im so confused, i have been watching this thing grow on my back for a yr now, its not like i had this mole my whole life, it just appeared as a *** practically. he said as long as it isnt black, i have no need to worry, is this true?If anyone can give me some answers i would really appreciate it, as for now i guess its just a waiting game.
In rare instances, men taking PDE5 inhibitors (oral erectile dysfunction medicines, including VIAGRA) reported a sudden decrease or loss of vision. It is not possible to determine whether these events are related directly to these medicines or to other factors. If you experience sudden decrease or loss of vision, stop taking PDE5 inhibitors, including VIAGRA, and call a doctor right away.
